Merry holidays, the Marine way

I was driving by the Marine Aviation Station in Beaufort,SC when I saw a civilian crew installing (wrapping the whole plane) Christmas lights on a Marine static display at the base’ entrance. They must look real nice at night!!! Maybe someone living around Hilton Head can take night pictures. I had to get to the museum inside of the base in a hurry, could not wait for the dusk.

Lovely to see in these days of trying to not offend anyone at Christmas. Look forward to the night time photos.

Night time photos would be awsome! What a great idea! The Warplane Harritage Museum here in Ontario should do something similar!

Thanks again Vlad!

Notice a big red light in the NOSE of the plane.

I bet the pilot’s name on the canopy frame is “Rudolf”.
