I just received a 500-round brick of Federal “Punch” .22 Long Rifle and was surprised at the new (to me) headstamp design. The round has a nickel-plated, 29-grain lead bullet in a nickel-plated case. Its muzzle velocity out of a 2-inch barrel is 1070 feet per second. The cartridge was designed for self-defense and details can be seen on the Federal web site at Buy Personal Defense Punch Rimfire for USD 10.99 | Federal Ammunition (federalpremium.com). The cartridge below is shown at twice actual size and the box label and 3-inch sticker Federal included with my order are actual size.
the case look little longer than “normal” 22lr
same thing as 22 stinger ?
