Bob, very nice box, thanks for sharing. The rubber stamp and first two lines both say “Commission de réception des munitions et artifices de guerre”. I don’t understand the beggining of the third line, but it follows with “le 27 mai 1907” and “Contrat du 15 mars 1907, approu[]”.

This is reminiscent of the labels that the factory at Thun, Switzerland, put on foreign boxes in a repository collection of them.
