Hi !
I know this video.
It is a small punt gun and a small powder loading, when you compare to the ones above.

The French punt gun used to be up to 60 mm !!
JP

same question about these two others
jp

Has somebody a better picture of this one ,
(And the ctge fitting it to sell ?? )

JP

Nobody has even seen one punt gun like these ones ?

At least the first one I am sure you know.
Because it is on the metal plate NRA is selling to promote birds hunting !
Funny they choose a French punt gun !

I saw a wasted cartridge just like in the picture above at the Allentown show, it was made of steel with a faint unreadable headstamp. The seller told me it was a punt gun shell but I did not buy it because I did not know how a punt gun shell looked. Maybe next time. How rare are they?

How rare ?
If the ctge is the one shown in the last picture I don’t know.
It is a British punt gun and I don’t know what the ctge looks like exactly.

I am sorry but I can’t help you with any of the punt guns but I just wanted to say that i have seen a punt gun fired in real use on the marshes in Norfolk about 30 years ago.
I don’t get a chance to drop that into the conversation very often!

It is indeed rare to see a real punt gun in action nowadays I think.
In France for example any gauge smaller than 10 is forbiden for hunting.
