Remington UMC No 2 (Copper) primers, for Black Powder)

#1

Greetings.

I stumbled upon a complete brown cardboard box of 1,000 of these primers, with the address that includes New York and London.

Off the top of your collective heads and pending photos, can anyone hazard a guess as to the production year span for these?

Thanks.

Story–If you give me the EXACT wording of the address line, including any “The” or “Hyphan” or "Inc. I will be able to date them with 5-8 years.

Thanks - didn’t know UMC was offering black powder reloading components that late.

Story–Your primers are REMINGTON not U.M.C. The two companies merged in 1911 to form Remington-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. In 1920, It became Remington Arms Co., Inc. They still offered a few Black Powder Revolver cartridges in their catalog as late as 1938.
