Russian 7.62

Picked this up at a gun show today, had to pay a whopping $8.00…
I know [suspect] it says:
“16 cartridges for pistol caliber 7.62mm”, but can someone tell me what the label actually says, so I can keep a decent record for once?
Thanks!

Can’t give your the exact translation, but…
It is 16 rounds of Bulgarian 7.62x25 Tokarev ammo, made at the Kazanlak #10 factory, and it is for pistols and sub-machine guns. It was a bit on the expensive side, but it is in nice condition. There are a bunch of packet/label color variations.

Well, I figured, “Hey, a sealed pack of something I do not have, that I can not read, and don’t really know what it is, but I can just see through a fold in the paper that it is clean, so, what could go wrong?”, and I do not think I said that out loud, but sometimes my ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ voices do get confused.

He had a couple more, so I just may need to pay too much to get a second pack to keep the first one company… ;-)
