Russian 9mm?

Anyone know anything about these Russian made 9mm?? I have some I am trying to learn about. The case is dark green and the primer and bullet are sealed with a bright red sealer. Headstamp is “9mm LUGER TCW”

Tony your’s is from Tula Cartridge Works (TCW).

Here some Tula boxes as they are made for the Russian language market:

The top left is from Barnaul, all others are from Tula (the white ones are the very first civilian production of Tula).

The Russian military boxes look different.

So I guess that means these are imported. Is this just shooting ammo, or should I be saving this for a fellow collector? Thanks for all the help guys on this foreign stuff, ya’ll know this is not my area. But it’s all fun!

Well,

in my experience the quality of Russian ammo is very varying - it can be pretty OK, and then it might have 5-10 malfunctions per 100 rounds. I shoot quite a lot of 9x19 (approx 15000 per year), and will not buy Russian ammo. I
