RWS small rifle primers

Went to a gun show at a small hunting club next to me, a lot of guns, reloading stuff and hunting ammo. This is the closest I can find to an antique. Does ARA still exist?

Kind of hard to read on this packaging but ARA is the American Reloaders Assoc.

Think these are ca. 1950’s-70’s era primers

I think this is my earliest ad showing this box style, from when it was distributed by Ammodyne (1966). It continued being marketed by Stoeger during the late 60’s and 70’s, and then by Dynamit Nobel of America Inc. until the early 80’s.

I find the tray layout strange, has anyone ever seen anything not uniform like that?
From the far right, I see rows of: 11, 12, 11, 12, 10, 12, 11, 12, 11, 12, 10…

11+ 12 ==23
Ten Pairs of 11+12 == 230
Plus Three × 10 == 250
Simple Arithmatic.

Doc AV

Doesn’t that equal 260?

Ha! Simple for you maybe, but I had enough trouble counting those I could see!

Uhhh… plus I think you got the math wrong, too… :thinking:
