The website of Ancestry.com now has the complete Sears, Robuck & Co. catalogs from 1896-1993 available online. I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com so I had no trouble looking at them, but I don’t know if you need to subscribe or not. Some of the Databases on Ancestry.com are available without a subscription. These catalogs are a good source of what ammunition Sears, Robuck & Co. sold each year.
Yes, you need to be a member. I just tried your link and I had to log in. It’s also a HUGE file so dial-up would be painful.
Roger–This is not the kind of file you would want to download in its entirety. I am sure it would be Many, Many gigabytes, perhaps even approaching a Terabyte. Instead you go there and look up a specific page and copy that. Too bad it turned out not to be one of Ancestry.com’s free databases.
If anyone has a specific question concerning Sear’s ammunition and does not have access to Ancestry.com, contact me by email and I may be able to help you out.
