I have recently got hold of a 105mm shell under the identification number of RW297. The only other information I can identify is that it was made in 1972. I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can give me . ( This is NOT for sale )

Can you post pictures of the head stamp, and any other markings, and one full length?
That will help “those in the know” to ID it.
This is a 105x326R FD Light Howitzer case. RW297 is the case design/drawing.
It is electric primed and has 4 diagonal mouth crimps.
Usually made by RLB (Royal Laboratories Birtley).UK.
