That’s a .223 paint-marking “simunition” type rd. Made by UTM or Simunition probably. They are for training where the users can shoot each other
a sectioned example of one of what I believe is one generation newer than yours, however I could be wrong.
Yours would probably look quite the same inside.
Pete, I think you are right about the generation.
A couple rare green & yellow 9mm UTM’s in Pepper’s photo, among other things. I usually only see the red & blue ones out in the market which is almost never.
Does anyone know what the cost per cartridge is for these?
Looking at Pete’s sectioned example, manufacture must be far more complicated than regular ammunition.
