Strange PIAT fuze

#1

Just got this off of Ebay in Australia. Just compairing it with the other fuzes I have… definately different. Smaller container, fuze is a different size… anyone ever seen anything like this… why is it so different…

The Australian fuze is far right:

Take a close look down the side of the top half of the blue container, you will see that it is stamped DRILL, it is a DRILL fuse & container for a PIAT projectile!

I can also make out the words DRILL on the body of the black coloured fuse.

Yep.

Posted over in BOCN as well. Its a No. 425 Drill fuze and case for the PIAT. Apparently fairly rare in this end of the hemisphere.

Its marked DRILL on the case and on the fuze as well.

The taller fuzes are variations of the No. 426 fuze. and they are marked “426 Dummy”.
