I got a box with the following label “70 комада,7,62мм.метак за аутомат,ппу5901-р,нц-03,мбл 5720”. Upon opening I found most of the cartridges to have different headstamps. Is that usual or not so?
The box is Yugoslav and the rounds are most-likely repacked Soviet ammo. There should be a mix of 3, 38, 541, 710, etc. They should also have 6 neck stabs and purple seals. The only question I still have is; did the Yugoslavians reload fired Russian cases or simply reprocess loaded ammo.?
