U.S. Cal .30 Ammunition Made in England (that never was)

Found this in a U.S. Aircraft Armament Section report dated October 12, 1918:

I am sorry to disagree, Fed, but this ammo was made by Royal Laboratory in 1918.

I have examples of all of these loads in my collection, plus ball which had a purple neck seal. Chris Punnet mentions them all in his .30-06 book.


Tony, yes, you are absolutely right. I added this comment because I was thinking of cartridges in these loadings with components entirely made in England, something that was supposed to be but never was.
