Have american factories ever made unheadstamped 35 WSL ammo?

Maybe… There were many Winchester 1907 and 1910 rifles in .351 and .401 calibers sent to the French for their air crews during WWI. Maybe some .35 WSL also made it over, and perhaps the ammo lacked headstamps to cut cost, and conceal origin, since the guns and ammo would have been contract ordered through Winchester, and this might have been occurring before the U.S. entered the war, and we didn’t want the Germans to know??
