I am new to the group. I found this .22 casing when I was metal detecting today. It looks like a “D” with a small “z” inside. I have hundreds of old brass shotgun shells mostly from the 1860’s to the early 1900’s that I found while underwater metal detecting if you would like to see photos.
Hi Jody, it was made in Mexico by Industrias Tecnos, S.A. de C.V. for Southern Gun Distributors, Inc. in Florida. You can find it in Sovereign/Tiger-Cat brand boxes.
“DZ” stand for Dee Zook, the purchasing agent of this ammunition.
Any idea on age? Thank you so much for the info!
