I’m looking for information on this 7,92x57 headstamp.
M = Manurchin = Manufacture de Machines de Haut-Rhin, France.
2 3 = year
7,9 = caliber :-)
Thanks for the information on the France Mauser cartridge.
I’m a cartridge collector from the Netherlands and many years member of the ECRA…
One of my fields of interests are cartridges from Poland before WWII.
For me it is hard to find reliable information.
Best regards DJ
Wellcome DJ :-)
I am glad that I helped you. Unfortunately, I could not sign up for ECRA, I do not have a gun license, and in Poland I am not allowed to collect live ammo. Deco only and cases.
What information do you need about the Polish ammo? I’m happy to help :-)
But I’m not very sure about à French cartridge.
Normally, manurhin is MR. I didn’t recognised this typologie, primer.
See a 7,5 French.
MR = Manurhin = Manufactures de machines du Haut-Rhin : usine de Mulhouse ou du Le Mans
LM = the same
D - Metall suplier = Société d’éléctro-métallurgie de Dives
