What is this blank?

#1

I got this blank yesterday at the Morgantown show in a mixed box of goodies. Anybody have any ideas as to what it is? It’s copper cased with a “+” head stamp and brass-colored primer. Looks like a wax seal down about ¼”?
OAL= 1.000”
C/L= .940”
RIM= .686” ( .070” thick)
HEAD= .440”
NECK OD= .340”
C/M= .288”
NECK Length= .240”

I also picked up a neat little Berloque Pistol with 2 mm blanks and flare kit.

Looks like an artillery shell primer. M. Rea

This is a swiss artillery primer for 8,4 to 12 cm pieces and is the latest model adopted in 1925.

An earlier version was introduced in 1880 for the 8,4 cm Feldkanone Ord. 1880.

Thanks guys. The person that sold it to me didn’t know what it was so we both thought it was a blank.
