It’s because Photobucket, once the most popular site for storing pictures on the internet, got greedy and decided to charge for access to our own pictures, most are refusing to pay.

Ok That is what I thought…I went to the link and they want $399. That is ridiculous. too bad, a lot of data gone. Thanks for answering.

For those people with Photobucket accounts, like myself, you can retrieve your photos from Photobucket. Then if you wish and time permitting you can, with the new Forum, reload your pictures in the relevant threads. I’ve reloaded a few of my photos in a couple of my older posts and will reload more as time permits.

For those looking for a much better alternative to Photobucket, I would suggest Imgur.
