THE CARTRIDGE YOU DEPICT IS FAIRLY COMMON AS ARE ALL OF THE OTHER CALIBER CARTRIDGES USING THE WOODEN SHOT SABOT MANUFACTURED BY U.M.C. CARTRIDGES OF .50 CALIBER WILL COMMAND MORE MONEY. VALUE WOULD BE ABOUT A DOLLER EACH. THE ACTUAL WOODEN SABOT WAS PATENTED BY, MARCELLUS HARTLEY & ALFRED J. HOBBS ON 8 JANUARY 1889, U.S. PATENT No. 395,897. THE PATENT WAS ASSIGNED TO, UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE Co. AT BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT. YOUR CARTRIDGES WERE MANUFACTURED SOMETIME AFTER THE REMINGTON ARMS Co. AND UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE Co. MERGED IN 1911.
