WW1 30-06 year ID

Just found a can with about 100 old 30-06 military rounds, ( I’m diggin ) can someone tell me the year? is it 1911 or 1912 , Thanks…

Your cartridge case was made at Frankford Arsenal in December 1911. It is impossible to tell when it was loaded without lot number information. However, it was likely loaded in 1911 or very early 1912.

On all Frankford Arsenal ammunition with 2 number dates, the first number is always the month and the last number is the year. The Month-Year style was last used on .30-06 in Aug. 1917 (F A 8 17). After that only the year was used.
