Found a nifty site with WWII vintage technical drawings.

That style of drawing was very common in popular literature in Britain between the wars, and those drawings generally show WWI kit, like the Stokes mortar.

I am not sure though what the lefthand .303 round with the “aluminium jacket” is meant to be.

Really nice web site link. My favorite is the picture of the 16" Projectile detailing Before & After being fired, sitting on opposite sides of a massive hole in steel armor.
