Zbrojovka Brno 80x233R Headstamp

Here is a picture of an 80x233R headstamp that I think is made by Zbrojovka Brno.

What does the “R” to the left of the Lion at 12 O’Clock stand for? I presume the lion is a Czech property mark.

I met 80 mm (AT?) M28 case of 1930 with letter “M” not “Z” (under “R” and lion). By the way fuzer made by Shkoda works.

It was a plant in Povazhska Bystritsa (Slovakia) part of Zbroevka Co. That plant produced cannon cases too.

Sorry, your reply was not clear. Do you mean that my case was made by Povazhska Bystritsa?

I recognised the Skoda Works logo on the primer. Modern Skoda cars are common in the UK.

I am not shure that “Z” means Zbroevka BRNO. It’s mainly small arm plant not artillery case one. It’s just assumption about Povazhska Bystritsa.
